Palworld launches Graveyard Keeper 2 Steam bundle at 10% off

Pocketpair has put Palworld into a new Steam bundle with Graveyard Keeper 2. In an official post on October 28, 2026, the studio announced that the Palworld × Graveyard Keeper 2 Steam Bundle is available now and sells both games together at 10% off.

The Steam store lists the bundle at $49.48 with the 10% discount applied. Players who already own one of the two games are not left out: through Steam's Complete the Set feature, they can buy the other at the discounted price, Pocketpair writes. It is not the first such deal. Pocketpair's news page lists several earlier Palworld Steam bundles this year, the latest from September 25.

Side by Side is version 1.1

The bigger news for regular players came on October 20. Alongside the results of its Global Popularity Poll 2026 (Sekhmet topped the Pal category, Zoe the character category), Pocketpair announced that the next update, "Palworld: Side by Side", is coming in Winter 2026. GamesRadar+ notes that the press release confirms the news "without revealing much else", and Gematsu calls it the next major update.

The name and key art led some people to expect more. Pocketpair's head of publishing, Buckley, clarified on Twitter that Side by Side is v1.1 and added that "quite a few people thought it was a new game announcement." According to GamesRadar+, he also said that "1.1 isn’t a massive update." In an earlier GamesRadar+ interview, Buckley said that with 1.1 the team is doing "something players have been screaming at us to do" and that internally it calls 1.0 "kind of a soft prologue". GamesRadar+ also reports that the studio does not want to just "release 100 new Pals with the next update".

Where Palworld stands

Version 1.0 launched in July 2026. According to PCGamesN, it added 72 extra Pals for a total of 287, raised the level cap from 65 to 80 and introduced new systems such as Awakening. GamesRadar+ reported over 855,000 concurrent Steam players for 1.0, a figure the developer's lead called "staggering".

On October 28 at 05:41 UTC, Steam counted 25,542 players, with a daily peak of 48,957, placing Palworld at rank 38 on the most played chart. Its 494,474 Steam reviews are 94% positive, rated Very Positive.

Palworld plays like an open world survival crafting game with creatures at its center. Craftopia, ARK: Survival Evolved and Terraria share its Open World, Survival and Open World Survival Craft tags.

On its own, Palworld costs $29.99 on Steam with no discount, so the bundle only saves money if Graveyard Keeper 2 interests you too. Gematsu lists the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. Anyone waiting for new content can look to Side by Side, version 1.1, in Winter 2026, which Buckley himself describes as not a massive update.
