Delta Force: Season Aurora launches November 10 with new operator Martelo

Team Jade's next Delta Force season adds operator Martelo, Brakkesh 2.0, the Warfare map Zenith Port and a new AZ3 mode on PC, mobile and console.

Team Jade has announced the next season for Delta Force. In an official Steam post on November 7, the developer says Season Aurora goes live on November 10 across PC, mobile and console, bringing a new Assault operator called Martelo, a reworked Brakkesh map, a new AZ3 mode named Supercritical and a new Warfare map, Zenith Port.

What Season Aurora adds

Martelo is Veronica Cardozo, and her kit is built around the Ariete. She charges forward, takes reduced damage from the front while doing so, and ends the run in a Heavy Strike that damages and knocks down nearby enemies when she collides with an enemy or a wall. She can also cut the charge short by leaping and slamming the Ariete into the ground. Her kit also includes Smoke Halo, a shoulder-mounted launcher for smoke grenades, a high-explosive grenade, and Guerreira, which the post sums up as "the more Martelo's fighting spirit grows" the fiercer the battle gets.

The post promises "major map updates" to Brakkesh under the name Brakkesh 2.0, plus Supercritical, a new mode for AZ3. Xbox Wire described AZ3 in June as a map where player actions, radiation, elite Haavk forces and the H1000 boss shape each run. Warfare players get Zenith Port. The season also adds the AN-94 Assault Rifle, new ammo and attachments, and what Team Jade calls "a wide range of optimizations and balance adjustments". In September, PCGamesN had reported that another UE5-enhanced Warfare map was on the way in November.

Schedule and the last days of the current season

The rollout follows the same timetable on all platforms. At 00:30 UTC on November 10, ranked matches in Operations and Warfare close for the off-season. At 01:59 UTC the Operations entrance and matchmaking shut down, along with the Market and Auction House. At 02:00 UTC the update arrives on PC, Android, iOS, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. iOS players need system version 13 or higher, and the developer suggests restarting the game if anything goes wrong after updating.

A post from November 5 lists what is still running before the switch. The Season Reservation event, open until 11/12, hands out Armament Vouchers and the Haavk Guard appearance for the ASh-12 just for logging in. The Home Stretch event doubles points in Hazard Operation Ranked and Warfare Grade matches until 00:29:59 on November 10.

Delta Force remains one of Steam's most played games: on November 7 at 17:41 UTC it had 75,358 players, a daily peak of 132,584 and 18th place by current players. Its reception is weaker. Of 200,020 Steam reviews, 57 percent are positive, which Steam rates as Mixed. PCGamesN already pointed to a 'mixed' rating at the launch of Season Ahsarah, when 63 percent of recent reviews were negative. In the Steam forum, one player complained that Operations is full of cheaters and that the beginner easy mode is crowded with experienced players, while another objected that Warfare teams have 8 players a side and the rest are bots.

The game is free to play, so trying Season Aurora costs nothing beyond the download. Returning players should log in before November 12 to collect the reservation rewards, and anyone chasing ranked points has until early November 10. Further out, PCGamesN reports a city-based Operations map called Siege: Valkyrie for early 2027 that promises "new gameplay rules". On the competitive side, Xbox Wire says the top two teams from each region advance to the Delta Force Invitational at DreamHack Stockholm.
