Mandated Fate Demo Launches Today With a Dystopian Murder Case

The first public demo for Mandated Fate is scheduled for August 17, giving players a compact introduction to Tetrarchy Studios' dystopian social thriller. The game is set in an alternate 1985 ruled by a technocratic empire, where an Imperial Inspector investigates a murder that may expose a wider political conspiracy.

The demo covers the opening chapter and is designed to take about 30 to 60 minutes. Players can explore a retro-futurist city, question suspects, gather evidence, and decide how much truth they are willing to report. The story is presented from both first-person and third-person perspectives, with conversations, discoveries, and choices intended to change the case's direction.

Mandated Fate is coming soon on Steam, but the publisher has not announced a full release date. The demo is therefore the clearest way to judge its blend of detective work, exploration, faction pressure, and branching narrative before launch.
