Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond adds tenth card set Deicide in Nacreheim

Card Set #10 brings 76 cards and a new Clue keyword to Cygames' free-to-play card game, which climbed to rank 95 on Steam's most played chart.

Cygames released Deicide in Nacreheim, the tenth card set for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond, on October 28, 2026. According to the developer's Steam post that day, the set adds 76 cards and 2 exchange tickets to the free-to-play card game.

What the set adds

On its official site, Cygames frames the set as a murder case in which players "solve the mystery surrounding the circumstances of a benevolent goddess's death". The mechanical hook is a new keyword, Clue. Clue amulets can be engaged to draw cards and to strengthen the abilities of certain other cards. When a new Clue amulet enters the field, it banishes any allied Clue amulet already there and takes over the clues collected so far. A separate tie-in site, The Nacreheim Case Files, asks players to catch the killer alongside the set's detectives and criminals.

The post "Deicide in Nacreheim – Card Set #10 Now Available" also lays out the pack economy. Each card drawn has an 8% chance to be a premium card with animations. Exchange tickets, which on rare occasions replace a card, can be redeemed for a Leader Set; they stay valid for 180 days and never drop from the daily free card pack. Every purchased pack earns one card pack point, which goes toward Lucky Chests (the first at 250 points, then every 200) or a direct exchange (350 points for the first trade, 300 after that). Rewards include exchange tickets for Noeinhowell and Lapinette and fully animated copies of the set's Legendary cards, Nosche, Theriophone Detective and Leizaut, Calamity of Obliviation. The set follows Revenants of Azvaldt, Card Set #9.

Players and reviews

On Steam's most played chart, the game stood at rank 95 on October 28 with a daily peak of 32,037 concurrent players, up 55 places from rank 150 a week earlier. On October 29 at 11:41 UTC, 17,193 people were playing, rank 79 by current players. That is far from launch: SteamDB recorded an all-time peak of 120,488 concurrent players on July 17, 2025, 32 days after release.

Reviews remain the game's weak point. Of 24,521 Steam user reviews, 29% are positive, which Steam rates as Mostly Negative. Reviews from the last 30 days come out slightly higher but are still mostly negative: depending on the language version of the store page, between 31% and 36% are positive.

The criticism dates back to launch. PCGamesN wrote at the time that the game was flying on Steam with 101,454 concurrent players, "but the reviews are abysmal". The outlet noted that the microtransactions "aren't merely cosmetic, they're hooked into gameplay", and that players were calling the game 'pay to win' from the start.

For anyone curious about the new set, entry costs nothing, since the game is free to play. Returning players who left over the monetization should know that the set's point rewards are tied to purchased packs: login bonus packs earn no points, and the daily free pack yields no exchange tickets. The Daily Deal in the shop resets at 8:00 p.m. UTC.
